The Colors of Home series

During the challenges of March, April and May of 2020, I explored the theme of home as sanctuary in response to the media's repeated use of the phrase "stuck at home" rather than "safe at home." By depicting small sections of the patterns and colors on items in my home which give me joy and comfort, I express my gratitude for my home as a safe haven.
